New Website!
After many years, the Company website has received a much-needed redesign. Right now, you’ll see much of the old content, but some of it, including profiles and links, have to be moved over. They will be done a few per week so that we can feature each corps or link.
Other features like the Company store are working, but still in progress. For example, some items must be added again, and all of the products need a professional looking photo. As you go around the site, if you find a bug, please report it to me at webmaster@companyoffifeanddrum.org, or post it below as a comment.
Some new features include posting some music from the archives. There are thousands of tunes in the music library that haven’t seen the light of day in decades. The calendar is much improved, with two views: a calendar, and list view. You can also subscribe by RSS feed to the calendar, or any posts category. We also have the ability to post articles, videos, or photos. If you would like to contribute in any way, just let me know.
While the website isn’t perfect yet, it’s a step in the right direction. Please stand by over the next few weeks while things get ironed out.

Hi, what I have had time to see looks good. I especially like the muted color. Hope though that you will find some way of getting access to the news notes for those of us who don’t (or can’t) do the social network thing. The “tweets” look interesting but I have no access to them and suspect I am not alone in that.
Good move to include the calendar in things moved over early on.
As our retired music master always used to say, “Keep up the good work.”
ITAS,
Linda Delfs
corps rep, Village Volunteers
How do you prefer to read the news posts, through the website? It might be possible to have them sent by email, though that would take some research and time to get set up.
The facebook and twitter pages are there as a convenience for people who use them. A lot of the juniors are on facebook for example. Not sure about twitter, but we’ll see what happens. Nevertheless, all content will be posted on the Company website first, so you won’t miss out on anything.
Congratulations on the new design. It’s well laid out and intuitive. I’m hoping the Company will post a listing of all member corps (with or without links) soon. Also, would it be possible to post a master list of all known musters nationwide?
