Moonlight Quickstep
Testing out a new feature of the Company website, posting a featured tune. In the future, this will hopefully be a weekly event. It depends upon volunteers willing to help research and typeset new music.
Moonlight Quickstep is found in Col. H. C. Hart’s New and Improved Instructor For The Drum, published in 1862. The drum notation is difficult for some people to read, as it is written in a kind of code.
Here is the fife part for Moonlight_Quickstep. The snare part will be converted to modern notation at a later date, but for now, here is the original source as well.

I like the ‘Featured Tune’ idea. It reminds me of the music that is often included in The Ancient Times. I’d love to have some of those tunes available through here. Would that be possible? Would those require all new typesetting, or do they already exist in some sort of usable format?
I like this idea. Puting up some of the less known tunes that have been stuffed away in the arcives for decades. When will there be more of theses?
