The Northern Colorado Fife and Drum Corps
The Northern Colorado Fife and Drum Corps, 1st Regiment is located, have members, and play along what is called “the front range area” of Colorado from Colorado Springs, CO to Cheyenne, WY. They meet monthly on the first Tuesday of the month near Loveland, CO.
In addition to the musical contingent, NCFDC is known for their color guard (frequently augmented by the Colorado Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution) and for their black powder and Revolutionary War camp re-enactment contingents. They attend patriotic parades and events, rendezvous, Scottish and heritage events, and educational gatherings. We are a mainstay of the Ft. D.A. Russell Days at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne where we provide the RW camp and historical education.
As a group with several veterans and family members, NCFDC has a policy of performing veterans memorials and celebratory events for free. NCFDC is a non-profit {501(c)4} organized for these purposes.
Visitors and prospective musicians are extremely welcome to contact us.
